Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1/3 c
- vinegar - 2 c
- large onions, chopped - 6 item
- hot pepper to taste - 1 item
- tomatoes, peeled and cut up - 2 gal
- to 6 bell peppers, chopped - 4 item
How to make chili sauce:
Mix together tomatoes, onion and peppers. Pour salt over all and let soak for 3 to 4 hours; drain. Mix remaining ingredients together and cook slow until thick. Seal in jars.Recipe categories: Low protein, Condiments, etc., Main dish.
