- bay leaf - 1 item
- dash of paprika - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- fat - 3 Tbsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- dash of cayenne pepper - 1 item
- whole cloves - 3 item
- large onion, sliced - 1 item
- 2 1/2 can tomatoes 3 1/2 c
How to make chili con carne:
Brown onion, green pepper and meat in hot fat. Add tomatoes and seasonings. Simmer 2 hours adding water if necessary. Add beans; heat thoroughly. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Chili.
