Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs, well beaten - 3 item
  • chicken broth - 2 c
  • bread crumbs - 2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • ground sage
  • celery, chopped - 1/2 c
  • corn bread - 2 c

How to make chicken dressing:

Break bread crumbs. Add broth. Add remaining ingredients; beat slightly. Pour into a greased shallow pan. Bake for about 30 minutes in hot oven. Makes 6 large servings. Recipe may be doubled with equally good results.
