Chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- medium onion - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- slivered almonds - 1 pkg
- water chestnuts, sliced - 1 c
- can French green beans, drained - 1 item
- stewed chicken or 4 breasts - 1 item
How to make chicken casserole:
Stew chicken. Use broth to cook rice. Toast almonds. Mix remaining ingredients, along with chicken and rice. Place in a 2-quart casserole dish. Top with almonds. If dry appearance, add chicken broth.
