Chicken bites
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- can crescent rolls - 1 8
- seasoned salt, optional - 1/4 tsp
- sesame or poppy seeds - 1 item
- crushed canned French-fried onions - 3/4 C
- chicken breast, skinned, boned and cut into 16 pieces - 1 item
How to make chicken bites:
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet. In a bowl, combine onions, flour and salt. Blend well. Set aside. Separate dough into 8 triangles. Cut each in half lengthwise to make 16 long triangles. Dip chicken pieces in egg; coat with onion mixture. Place 1 coated piece on wide end of each triangle; roll to opposite point. Place point side down on sprayed sheet. Brush tops with remaining egg; sprinkle with sesame seed or poppy seeds. Bake in pre-heated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
