  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
  • powdered sugar
  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • Rice Chex cereal - 9 c

How to make chex muddy buddies:

Pour cereal into large bowl and set aside. Combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine in large kettle. Cook until melted over medium heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal, stirring until all pieces are covered. Spread on cooking sheet until slightly cool. Put coated cereal into large paper bag with powdered sugar and shake gently until all pieces are coated. Store in tightly covered dish.
