- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- stick melted butter - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- powdered sugar
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 3 item
How to make chess cake:
Filling:1 box (4 c.) powdered sugar8 oz. cream cheese3 eggs Mix cake mix, melted butter and 1 egg and press into a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese and 3 eggs together and spread over cake mix layer. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool; cut in squares.
For variation, add coconut or pecans to last layer.
