Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- box white or yellow cake mix dry - 1 item
How to make chess cake:
Mix cake mix, 1 egg and margarine in a bowl. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan on buttered aluminum foil (to keep from getting too brown on bottom). Mix cream cheese, 2 eggs (beaten), powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Pour over unbaked crust. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar over while still warm.
