Cherry salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- cold water - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- Cool Whip - 1 c
- can cherry pie filling - 1 item
- small can crushed pineapple with juice - 1 item
- cold milk, mixed with 1/2 pkg
How to make cherry salad:
Topping:1 c. cold milk, mixed with 1/2 pkg. instant vanilla or lemon pudding1 c. Cool Whip Mix jello with boiling water; let dissolve. Add juice of pineapple and cold water. Stir in pineapple and cherry pie filling. Add nuts. Set in refrigerator until firm.Topping: Fold together the pudding mixture and the Cool Whip. Spread on salad. Sprinkle with coconut. Serves 12.
