- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- sour cherries - 1 c
- flour to make like cake - 1 item
- boiling water or cherry juice - 2 c
How to make cherry pudding:
Make a batter of 1/2 cup sugar, milk, baking powder, butter, salt and flour. Put in a baking dish. Pour cherries over top, then boiling water or juice. Bake at 400° for 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Southern u.s..
