Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- milk - 3/4 c
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- oleo - 1/2 c
- can sour cherries, undrained, or 2 c - 1 oz
How to make cherry cobbler:
Melt oleo in 9-inch pan. Mix 1 cup sugar, flour and baking powder; add milk and mix well. Pour over oleo. Do not stir. Pour cherries over batter. Do not mix. Sprinkle other 1/2 cup of sugar over batter. Bake at 325° in preheated oven for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Cobblers and crisps.
