Cheese cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• milk - 1/2 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• egg yolks - 2 item
• cold water - 1/2 c
• egg whites - 2 item
• whipping cream - 1 pt
• Knox gelatine - 2 Tbsp
• graham crackers - 24 item
• fine cottage cheese - 1 pt

How to make cheese cake:

Pour cold water in cup and sprinkle Knox on top. Set aside. Crush graham crackers and place them in a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 10 minutes. In a double boiler, cook next 6 ingredients until very smooth, stirring occasionally. Add Knox mixture and stir until dissolved. Pour over cooled crust. Refrigerate to set. You can add a small can of drained, crushed pineapple.
