Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg yolks - 2 item
- cold water - 1/2 c
- egg whites - 2 item
- whipping cream - 1 pt
- Knox gelatine - 2 Tbsp
- graham crackers - 24 item
- fine cottage cheese - 1 pt
How to make cheese cake:
Pour cold water in cup and sprinkle Knox on top. Set aside. Crush graham crackers and place them in a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 10 minutes. In a double boiler, cook next 6 ingredients until very smooth, stirring occasionally. Add Knox mixture and stir until dissolved. Pour over cooled crust. Refrigerate to set.
