Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • small onion, diced - 1 item
  • Velveeta cheese, cubed - 1/2 lb
  • celery salt - 1 tsp
  • carrots, sliced and cooked - 2 lb

How to make carrot casserole:

Sauce: Melt margarine. Add dry ingredients, onion and milk. Cook over low heat until thickened.

Place half the carrots in a casserole dish. Add cheese, then the rest of the carrots. Pour sauce over all. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
