Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/2 c
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- vegetable oil
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch baking pan
- coarsely chopped pecans and walnuts - 1 c
How to make carrot cake with cream cheese frosting:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Beat eggs and oil in small bowl. Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon in large bowl. Add egg mixture; mix softly. Stir in carrots and nuts. Do not overmix. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool.
