Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cut up nut meats - 1 c
- cooking oil - 1/2 c
- flour
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- grated raw carrots - 3 c
How to make carrot cake:
In a bowl, mix sugar and oil well together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Mix in dry ingredients, starting with flour. Mix well. Add carrots and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Cool. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
