  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cut up nut meats - 1 c
  • cooking oil - 1/2 c
  • flour
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • grated raw carrots - 3 c

How to make carrot cake:

In a bowl, mix sugar and oil well together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Mix in dry ingredients, starting with flour. Mix well. Add carrots and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Cool. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
