Caramel pecan squares
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1 c
- stick butter - 1/4 item
- whipping cream - 1/4 c
- pecans - 4 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- Pillsbury Plus yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
How to make caramel pecan squares:
Melt 1/4 stick of butter and mix with cake mix. Use pastry cutter and mix until coarse. Press into a 15 x 10-inch pan with high sides. Top with pecans (chopped or whole). Combine brown sugar, sugar, butter and honey. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in whipping cream with a wire whisk. Pour over pecans.
