Caramel pecan cheesecake
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 1 c
- sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- pecan halves - 1/4 c
- cream cheese, softened - 12 oz
- ground pecans - 3/4 c
- caramel syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel pecan cheesecake:
Combine cracker crumbs, ground pecans, sugar and butter. Pat on bottom and 1 1/2-inch up sides of 8-inch spring-form pan. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in 1/2 cup caramel syrup. Add eggs and milk; beat until blended. Pour into crust. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes or until center is set. Cool in pan 15 minutes.Combine sour cream and 1/4 caramel syrup. Spoon over cheesecake. Loosen sides of cheesecake from pan with spatula. Cool 30 minutes more. Remove sides of pan. Cool. Chill. Garnish with pecan halves before serving.
