  • water - 1 c
  • corn syrup - 2/3 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • cinnamon candies
  • ice cream sticks - 1 item

How to make candy apples:

Combine all ingredients except sticks for cooking in a saucepan. Cook until mixture reaches 300° or hard brittle stage. Place sticks into apples. Dip each apple into mixture. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and place apples on it. Cool.
