Ingredients/Components
- pasta - 1 lb
- cooked peeled shrimp - 1/2 lb
- diced carrots - 1 c
- to 5 button mushrooms, sliced - 4 item
- pasta sauce, slightly watered down - 1 c
- Cajun powdered seasoning - 1 item
How to make cajun pasta:
Cook and drain pasta. No matter what your mother told you, don't rinse the pasta unless you like all the sauce on the bottom of your bowl. Cook pasta sauce with shrimp, carrots and mushrooms to light simmer. Add as much Cajun seasoning as your taste buds can handle. Toss pasta with sauce well.
