Cabbage slaw
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- oil - 3/4 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- large head cabbage - 1 item
- ground mustard - 1 tsp
- green pepper rings - 2 c
- purple onion rings - 2 c
How to make cabbage slaw:
Mix cabbage, onion and pepper together. Pour 3/4 cup sugar over all. Mix 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar and remaining ingredients together in pan; bring to boil. Pour over slaw and cover. Refrigerate 4 hours. Toss when ready to serve.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Side dish, Garnishes.
