Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • evaporated milk - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar, packed
  • light Karo - 1/3 c

How to make butterscotch sauce:

Cook sugar, syrup, butter and salt for 5 minutes. Stir smooth. Remove from heat. Add milk and vanilla. Return to heat; bring to a boil, then remove.
