Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- vanilla
- milk - 3 c
- flour - 8 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 3 c
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 4 item
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- pie crust - 1 item
- Stir well
How to make butterscotch pie:
Mix all ingredients. Stir well. Heat until becomes thickened. Remove from heat and place in baked pie shell. Top with meringue. Place in 350° oven until meringue is golden brown.Meringue:4 egg whites1/4 tsp. cream of tartar1/3 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla Combine egg whites and tartar. Beat until peaks form.
