Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- corn syrup - 1 c
How to make butterscotch candy:
Boil the sugar, corn syrup and water to the firm ball stage. Add butter, salt and vanilla. Cook to soft crack stage. Pour into oiled pan. When partly cooled, mark into squares.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Candy.
