- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, separated - 6 item
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- plain flour - 3 c
- lemon flavoring - 2 tsp
- Wesson oil - 1 c
How to make buttermilk pound cake:
Blend oil, sugar and egg yolks; add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Add lemon flavoring and last fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in tube pan for 1 hour at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, For large groups.
