Buttermilk pancakes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- buttermilk
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
How to make buttermilk pancakes:
Sift all dry ingredients. Separate egg and beat egg white stiff. To sifted dry ingredients, add oil, buttermilk and egg yolk. Beat until well mixed. More buttermilk may be added, if desired. Fold in egg white. Cook on hot griddle at 400° until bubbles form. Turn over; cook until done.This recipe may be doubled or tripled without any adjustment.
