Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- large eggs, lightly beaten - 5 item
- buttermilk - 2/3 c
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
How to make buttermilk chess pie:
Combine sugar and flour in a large bowl. Add eggs and buttermilk, stirring until blended. Stir in butter and vanilla; pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Yields one 9-inch pie.Never fail pie crust. Go to store and buy it.
