  • vanilla ice cream
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • chocolate chips - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • Spanish peanuts
  • can evaporated milk - 1 oz
  • crushed Oreo cookies

How to make buster bar dessert:

Crust:1 lb. crushed Oreo cookies1/2 c. butter Filling:1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts Cook sauce ingredients over medium to low heat. Boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool completely.

Mix crust ingredients together and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Take 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream and either cut into pieces and fit into pan over Oreos or melt slightly and spoon over Oreos. Press down. Sprinkle Spanish peanuts over ice cream. Put in freezer until firm. Spread cooled sauce on top and return to freezer.
