  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 6 Tbsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • water - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • unsifted all-purpose flour - 2 c
  • pecans - 1/2 c
  • sour milk - 1/2 c
  • unsweetened chocolate or 4 Tbsp - 2 sq
  • Combine margarine, oil, chocolate and water in saucepan and heat until chocolate is melted

How to make brownies:

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine margarine, oil, chocolate and water in saucepan and heat until chocolate is melted. Combine flour, soda, sugar, milk, eggs, cinnamon and vanilla in a large bowl, then combine with first mixture. Pour batter in greased 12 x 18-inch cake pan or 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.Icing:1 stick margarine2 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla1 lb. powdered sugar1/2 c. pecans Combine margarine, chocolate and milk in saucepan and heat until almost boiling. Remove from heat and add vanilla, powdered sugar and pecans. Beat until smooth. Ice cake while warm. Icing is not stiff!
