Broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- dash of ground nutmeg - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- broccoli
- chicken bouillon - 1 Tbsp
- half and half milk - 1/2 c
- skimmed milk
How to make broccoli soup:
Heat margarine in a 3-quart saucepan over low heat until melted. Stir in flour. Cook, stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in 2 1/2 cups milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir in broccoli mixture, instant bouillon, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Heat just to boiling. Stir in half and half. Heat but do not boil.
