Broccoli salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 4
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- raisins - 1 c
- salad dressing - 1/2 c
- sunflower seeds - 1 c
- bacon - 1 lb
- diced red onion - 1/4 c
How to make broccoli salad:
Fry bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels, crumble and set aside. Cut the broccoli into pieces. Cook until crisp-tender. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, raisins, sunflower seeds and onion. In a small bowl, stir together salad dressing, sugar and vinegar until well blended. Spoon over broccoli mixture. Toss to coat. Sprinkle bacon over salad and toss. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Serves 10 to 12.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Broccoli.
