Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- fresh broccoli, chopped - 1 lb
- large, firm tomato - 1 item
- cauliflower if desired - 1 item
How to make broccoli salad:
Chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Cook in salted water until barely tender. Drain and cool. Chop tomato and onion; drain tomato. Toss onion, tomato and broccoli with enough mayonnaise to coat (about 1 cup). Salt and pepper to taste.
