Broccoli salad
Ingredients/Components
- Red Wine Vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- Cup Sugar - 1/4 item
- Cup Raisins - 1/2 item
- Cup Mayonnaise - 1 item
- Medium Bunch Broccoli - 1 item
- Small Red Onion - 1/2 item
- Cup Finely Chopped Celery - 1/2 item
How to make broccoli salad:
Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble into small pieces. Using only the flowerette and most tender stem sections of the broccoli, chop into very tiny pieces. Peel the red onion and finely chop. In a bowl, combine broccoli, onion, celery and raisins.In a smaller bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour this dressing over salad and toss.
Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Garnish with add'l bacon pieces if desired.
