Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 1/2 c
  • milk - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1/2 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • evaporated milk - 1/2 c
  • Set aside
  • biscuits left from breakfast - 10 item
  • Add cocoa and chocolate chips

How to make bread pudding:

Crumble biscuits and pour milk over them. Set aside. In medium bowl, mix eggs, butter, sugar and vanilla. Add to biscuit mixture. Mix well and pour into an 8-inch square baking dish. Bake in 350° oven for 55 to 60 minutes or until set. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.Second Version Bread Pudding:1/4 c. cocoa1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips Follow all the ingredients and instructions. Add cocoa and chocolate chips. Serve with Caramel Sauce.Caramel Sauce:1/2 c. butter1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. granulated sugar1/2 c. evaporated milk1 Tbsp. vanilla Combine butter, sugar and milk in medium pan, stirring constantly. Cook over low heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Bring to boil for 10 minutes. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Serve over Bread Pudding.
