Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • stick margarine - 1/2 item
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • oatmeal quick oats - 3 c
  • nuts, coconut and raisins - 1/2 1
  • cocoa or 1 sq - 3 Tbsp

How to make boiled cookies:

Put sugar, milk, butter and cocoa in a large pan. Bring to a boil. Cook only 1 minute and remove from heat. Add oatmeal and peanut butter; mix well. Add nuts, coconut and raisins. Stir and drop on waxed paper quickly. Cool. Makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
