Blueberry tart
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/8 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- blueberries - 5 c
- white vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- plus 2/3 c - 2 Tbsp
How to make blueberry tart:
Preheat oven to 400°. Mix with a fork 1 cup of flour, salt and 2 tablespoons sugar. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle with vinegar and mix again.Press mixture with floured fingers onto the bottom of a spring-form pan 1/2-inch on bottom and 1 inch up sides. Add 3 cups of berries.
Mix 2 tablespoons flour, 2/3 cup sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle all over berries. Bake on lowest rack for 1 hour, until crust browns. Top with remaining berries.
