Blueberry sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- grated orange peel - 1/4 tsp
- ground nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- fresh or frozen blueberries - 2 c
- each: orange juice and water - 1/4 c
How to make blueberry sauce:
Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes or until thickened. Makes about 2 cups.Serving Tip: Serve on pancakes, waffles, blintzes, ice cream, puddings or pound or angel food cakes.
