Blueberry sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- fresh blueberries or 1 bag frozen, thawed in cold water - 1 qt
How to make blueberry sauce:
Rinse berries under cold water. Put sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, water and salt in pot. Stir over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Keep stirring. Boil 2 more minutes longer. Add berries and lemon juice. Bring back to boil; cook until thick, 3 or 4 minutes. If too thick, add a little water.
