Blond brownies

Ingredients/Components

eggs - 3 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
brown sugar - 1 lb
semi-sweet chocolate chips - 12 oz
baking powder - 1 tsp
hot water - 1 Tbsp
sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 sticks margarine, melted - 1 item
chopped nuts walnuts, pecans - 3/4 c

How to make blond brownies:

Sift flour with salt and baking powder. Combine the margarine, brown sugar, hot water and eggs. Add flour gradually, beating in well. Add vanilla and chocolate chips. Add nuts. Pour into a greased 8 x 13-inch pan. Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes. Let cool. Cut into squares.
