Beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- dairy sour cream - 1 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- catsup - 2 Tbsp
- mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- medium onion, minced - 1 item
- beef bouillon - 10 oz
- hot cooked noodles - 3 4
- beef 1/2-inch thick - 1 lb
How to make beef stroganoff:
Cut meat strips about 1-inch long. Melt butter. Add mushrooms and onion; cook until tender. Remove, then cook meat until light brown. Reserving 1/3 cup of the broth, stir into remaining broth, catsup, garlic and salt. Cover; simmer for 15 minutes. Blend reserved broth and flour; stir into meat mixture. Add mushrooms and onion; boil and stir about 1 minute. Reduce heat. Stir in sour cream; heat. Serve over noodles.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
