Barbecue spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt
- vinegar - 1 c
- paprika - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- garlic salt - 1 item
- chili powder - 3 tsp
- catsup - 2 c
- onion salt - 1 item
- country spareribs
- mustard powdered or prepared - 2 tsp
How to make barbecue spareribs:
Cut ribs into serving pieces and sprinkle generously with garlic and onion salt. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cook 2 hours in electric skillet, adding sauce as needed or bake in 350° oven until done. Can use a crock-pot but allow 7 to 8 hours for cooking.Barbecue sauce can be cooked as above only add 1 teaspoon garlic salt and 1 teaspoon onion salt. Very good on hamburgers or to make beef barbecue.
