Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- prepared mustard - 2 Tbsp
- olive oil - 4 Tbsp
- hot pepper sauce - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- juice of 2 lemons
- finely grated lemon peel - 2 Tbsp
- wine or cider vinegar - 1 c
- finely diced garlic cloves - 2 item
How to make barbecue sauce for chicken:
Mix this thoroughly, then place in saucepan and simmer slowly for 15 minutes. This sauce can be prepared in larger quantity and kept in refrigerator until desired. Amount to be used for basting can be removed and heated. The sauce should be kept hot when used for basting.
