Barbecue sauce
Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- salad oil - 1/3 c
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chili powder - 4 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 8 oz
- white vinegar - 1/4 c
- fresh or frozen chopped onion - 1/2 c
How to make barbecue sauce:
Cook onion in hot oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients and cook until mixture is well blended. Will keep a long time in refrigerator. Makes 1 pint.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Southern u.s., Cajun.
