Bananas foster

Ingredients/Components

• brown sugar - 4 tsp
• vanilla ice cream - 1 item
• butter - 2 Tbsp
• bananas - 2 item
• pinch of cinnamon - 1 item
• rum or brandy - 1 oz
• banana or cherry liqueur - 1 Tsp

How to make bananas foster:

Mix butter and brown sugar in electric fry pan or chafing dish and cook over medium heat until carmelized. Quarter bananas and cook until tender. Add cinnamon and liqueur; stir. Add rum or brandy to top of mixture - do not stir. Ignite. Spoon over ice cream while flaming. Serves 2.

Note: If doubling or tripling, do not double rum or brandy.
