Banana split cake
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- bananas, sliced - 5 item
- whipped topping - 1 pkg
- jar maraschino cherries, drained and sliced - 1/2 oz
How to make banana split cake:
Combine the graham cracker crumbs and 1/2 cup butter in a bowl and mix well. Spread and pat into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine the sugar and remaining butter in a large bowl. Beat until light. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Spread carefully over crumbs. Arrange banana slices over butter-sugar mixture. Top with pineapple. Cover with whipped topping. Sprinkle with nuts and garnish with cherries. Keep in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Pineapple.
