Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- granulated sugar - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- powdered sugar, sifted - 2 c
- Spread on cooled crust
- large ripe bananas, sliced - 4 item
- Press in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan
- boxes frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed and drained - 4 oz
How to make banana split cake:
Mix together until crumbly like pie crust. Press in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. Cool.Cream Filling:1 c. butter2 c. powdered sugar, sifted2 eggs Beat butter, powdered sugar and eggs for 15 minutes. Spread on cooled crust.Fruit Topping:1 (13 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained4 (10 oz.) boxes frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed and drained4 large ripe bananas, sliced Layer each fruit on cream filling. Bananas first, strawberries second, pineapple last. Spread 1 large Cool Whip (thawed) on top and sprinkle with chopped walnuts and refrigerate.
