Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- confectioners sugar - 2 c
- maraschino cherries - 1 item
- 4 oz - 1 lb
- or 7 bananas - 6 item
- 1/2 sticks melted margarine - 1 item
- Filling:2 sticks margarine, softened
- envelopes whipped topping or Cool Whip - 2 item
How to make banana split cake:
Filling:2 sticks margarine, softened2 c. confectioners sugar2 eggs1 tsp. vanilla6 or 7 bananas1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained2 envelopes whipped topping or Cool Whip chopped nuts maraschino cherries Combine top 2 ingredients and press in bottom and sides of 13 x 9-inch pan. Place margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla in bowl; beat 20 minutes. Spread on crust. Slice bananas lengthwise and dip in lemon juice; place on crust. Spread on pineapple and Cool Whip. Top with nuts, cherries and coconut (if desired). Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Pineapple.
