Banana pudding
Ingredients/Components
- box vanilla wafers - 1 item
- or 6 bananas - 5 item
- regular size instant vanilla pudding mix sugar-free and fat free may be used - 2 item
- milk 2% or skim - 3 c
- carton sour cream reduced fat - 8 oz
- large container Cool Whip - 1 item
How to make banana pudding:
Put milk in large mixing bowl. Add pudding mix and mix on low speed until it thickens. Add the sour cream and mix well (about 2 minutes). With spoon, gently fold in the Cool Whip, until it is well blended. Place a layer of vanilla wafers in bottom of deep bowl. Then layer of bananas (sliced), then layer of pudding. Repeat layers until all is used. Sprinkle some wafer crumbs on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Fruit.
