Banana nut cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 4 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 3 c
• soda - 2 tsp
• buttermilk - 1 c
• shortening - 1 c
• mashed bananas - 6 item
• Beat in eggs and vanilla
• powdered sugar lb - 1 pkg

How to make banana nut cake:

Cream sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and milk. Add bananas and nuts last. Bake in 3 (10-inch) cake pans at 325° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.Frosting:1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 pkg. powdered sugar (lb.)1 tsp. vanilla Beat these ingredients together. Frost cake and sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
