- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- shortening - 1 c
- mashed bananas - 6 item
- Beat in eggs and vanilla
- powdered sugar lb - 1 pkg
How to make banana nut cake:
Cream sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and milk. Add bananas and nuts last. Bake in 3 (10-inch) cake pans at 325° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.Frosting:1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 pkg. powdered sugar (lb.)1 tsp. vanilla Beat these ingredients together.
