Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- vanilla flavor - 1 Tbsp
- nuts, chopped fine optional - 1/2 c
- Crisco regular - 1/4 c
- mashed good, ripened bananas - 3 item
How to make banana nut bread:
Beat margarine, Crisco, eggs, bananas and vanilla flavoring; beat well. Add flour; mix well. Add nuts; stir good. Pour into a well-greased loaf pan. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes, or until golden brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Yeast breads.
