Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- oil - 3/4 c
- soda - 3/4 tsp
- buttermilk - 3 Tbsp
- plain flour
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- to 3 bananas, mashed - 2 item
How to make banana nut bread:
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease and flour an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan; set aside. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add sugar, eggs, oil and buttermilk. Stir to blend. Fold in bananas and nuts. Pour into prepared dish. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes. Let cool in pan for 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Yeast breads.
